The Chamber Welcomes/Congratulates Infamous Whiskey
Greensboro, Georgia – Last year, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce was excited to welcome Infamous Whiskey to its growing membership. This year, the Chamber congratulates Infamous Whiskey on their recent title as BEST NEW BRAND at the Orlando Whiskey Festival! Over 100 different global whiskey brands also attended including Buffalo Trace, Makers Mark, Angels Envy, Four Roses, Woodford Reserve, and more. At their Infamous Whiskey branded booth, the company promoted their soon-to-be-released Infamous brand beverages including their signature full malted 4 grain Act 1 Clear Whiskey, Lemon Chill Liqueur, and Bourbon Whiskey. “The Orlando Whiskey Festival (OWF) was amazing for Infamous Whiskey. The momentum from OWF will create opportunities for our company which will generate many intangible benefits for our brand, investors, the City of Greensboro, GA, national distributors, retail outlets, and partners. It was a stand-out moment for us,” said Peter M. Allen, Chairman and CFO of Infamous Whiskey.
“OWF was our opportunity to promote both our brand and Greensboro because a distillery’s location is synonymous with the brand. While visiting our table most people asked where we were located which gave me the opportunity to talk about the beautiful city of Greensboro: the historic homes, downtown shopping, the intriguing cemetery, shows at Oconee Brewing, the history of L.L. Wyatt and the local moonshine ties, the old Gaol, the Ritz Carlton, boating, golf, and of course the re-zoning and ordinance efforts that we're currently in the middle of with city officials. Attendees were very enthusiastic about our new destination distillery and interested to visit us in Greensboro once we are open,” said Lorenze Tremonti, CEO of Infamous Whiskey and local resident of Morgan County.
“This is all just the tip of the iceberg of what we can all accomplish together. We have a tremendous team and our community support is very high. As a result we’re seeing the beginning of something very special in Greensboro. There's still a lot of work to do but
we’re on track to do some incredible things here,” said Mark Matuszek, President of Infamous Whiskey.
