Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Lake and Local’s New Retail Location

GREENSBORO, Ga. - On Saturday, June 10th, the Greene County Chamber of  Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting for Lake and Local’s new location at 111 Main St;  Greensboro next to the Courthouse. Located in the building that previously housed the  Chamber, their new location has a trendy and fun vibe, and also offers more parking for  their customers. Lake and Local has become a popular destination for their workshop  events and this new space gives them the opportunity to accommodate more people.  Their retail products from local businesses will still be available as before. 

Said Owners Kirsten Thompson and Kelly Parham: 

“While we loved the palm garden in our previous location on South Main Street, we  were shifting our business to focus primarily on local retail and our DIY classes and  workshops. For this reason, we decided that a smaller space would be ideal, and we  were right! Our new location at 111 North Main Street is cozy, warm, and inviting and  allows us to focus on our two main goals: to provide exclusive and unique products for  the lake country and to offer fun activities for the greater Greensboro community.”
