Greene Chamber of Commerce Hosts Ribbon Cutting for Empire South at Lake Oconee

GREENSBORO, GA - On June 8th, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce  welcomed retail store Empire South at Lake Oconee to our community with a  ribbon cutting.  

Owners Kari & Derek Chitwood wished to bring their quality lines of men’s and  women’s clothing and gifts to Lake Oconee building upon the success of their  other three stores located in Watkinsville, Athens, and Hartwell. Their Men’s  clothing includes brands such as Peach State Pride, AFTCO, Vineyard Vines,  Burlebo & Criquet. Their Women’s lines include Karlie, English Factory, Steve  Madden, THML, Day & Moon as well as many others. Their unique gifts from  BOGG, Mud Pie, Lily Pulitzer, Two’s Company, and Dock & Bay make visiting  this store a special treat.
