Ribbon Cutting Held for Mandi Paris Designs
On August 1st, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Mandi Paris Designs, a vibrant new clothing boutique located in downtown Greensboro. Founded by designer Mandi Paris, the boutique is also a flagship store for her unique line of women's and girls’ clothing. Her journey began through artwork created alongside her daughter during her battle with leukemia, which later evolved into bold and expressive fabric designs. The result: a collection of colorful dresses, cozy pajamas and matching robes, and more, which Mandi lovingly describes as “Southern, sassy and a lil’ bit of classy style.” Now featured in over 31 retail locations across Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky, Mandi Paris Designs has found a permanent home at 113 S. Main Street, Greensboro—next to the Post Office. “Greensboro reminds me of the small town I grew up in and the great memories I have,” said Mandi Paris, who grew up in Perry, GA. This flagship store also represents the collaborative efforts of Mandi and her longtime best friend and business partner, Alix Hunsucker. The two met as freshmen while attending the University of Georgia and partnered officially this spring (2025). Alix now manages the business side of operations, allowing Mandi to focus on creative development. Alix was instrumental in launching the Greensboro storefront.
